The vineyards that produce the famous Porto Wine grow in the grand valley of Douro River, the oldest demarcated wine region in the world. Its characteristics and the work of the Man who shaped the valley on terraces for centuries transformed it into a unique and very beautiful landscape.

The Douro Valley could also be called enchanted valley such is the beauty and enchantment that its landscapes offer. In Peso da Régua, the Douro Museum will give a different perspective of the region and viticulture. Not far away, on the south bank, is Lamego, one of the most beautiful cities in the North of Portugal, located at the foot of an immense staircase of blue and white tiles that leads to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios.
